The Foundational Area Museum, inaugurated in 1993, is located in the heart of Mendoza’s historic old town, next to the iconic Pedro del Castillo Square. The museum offers a journey through the city’s historical evolution, featuring significant archaeological exhibits. Just a short walk away, visitors can also explore the Jesuit Ruins of San Francisco.
