The Municipal Museum of Modern Art, inaugurated in 1967, is located in the heart of Mendoza, beneath the iconic Independence Square. It houses a valuable collection of over 1,400 works, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, and engravings. The museum regularly updates its exhibitions as part of its mission to promote and showcase visual arts from Mendoza and the surrounding region.
